Poppo Live Host: salary, programs and how to apply

Hourly salary and daily tasks (all hosts)

As soon as your account is verified, you earn an hourly salary while you stream. Every host starts at 2,000 points per hour. Your rate goes up as you receive more gifts over the last 7 days.

How the tier goes up — Tier 2 (3,000/h) requires about 150,000 points of gifts over the last 7 days (around $15). Each tier after that needs more gifts. Your current rate and the amount left to the next tier are shown in the app under Reward › Live.

Daily and weekly tasks — The Reward page also lists tasks that pay extra points:

• Live: stream at least 60 minutes a day.
• Party: join a party room for 1 or 2 hours.
• PK missions: win Random PK matches (each PK must be over 3,000 points).
• Daily: invite new users who download the app and stay active.

Tasks reset every day at 00:00 (UTC+8); weekly tasks reset on Monday. Rewards must be claimed manually in the app within the day.

When you join one of the fixed-salary programs below, your daily tasks are turned off for as long as you are in the program, and turned back on when it ends.

Fixed-salary programs (by application)

These programs pay a fixed weekly or monthly salary in addition to your 70% gift share. Each has its own requirements and audience. A host can only be in one fixed-salary program at a time. Applications for Star Host, Rocket Host, S-Idol and Radio Host go through your agent, via the official Poppo Live channel for agencies. If you don't have an agent yet, see Create your agency.

Star Host (Base Salary Host)

Star Host, also called Base Salary Host, guarantees a weekly salary to selected hosts instead of daily task goals. It is designed for new hosts with a strong image, talent and audience engagement.

Who can apply — Male and female hosts. Agents cannot participate. Male hosts are generally directed to Rocket Host; a host cannot be Star Host and Rocket Host at the same time.

Rules

• Only solo Live counts (Party excluded). A maximum of 6 hours per day is counted.
• The week runs from Monday 00:00 (UTC+8). Newly added Star Hosts are counted from the day they join.
• Rewards must be claimed manually; unclaimed rewards are not reissued.
• You must fill in your broadcast schedule in your Poppo profile, otherwise the salary is not paid.
• If you don't reach 12 hours in a week, the salary for that week is not paid and you may be removed from the program. Tell the official assistant in advance if you can't stream.

Requirements during live

• Qualified cover photo, avatar and nickname.
• Makeup, proper distance from the camera, eye contact with the lens.
• Phone stand and fill light; background music (lower it when talking to viewers).
• Greet and interact with viewers, show your talent.
• Good network, no noise.

Cancellation — Streaming without makeup or without showing your face, lying down, streaming on another platform at the same time, no interaction, mic off for a long time, poor lighting or noise, a partner appearing on camera, or unexcused absences. Three warnings lead to cancellation.

How to apply — Send two videos of at least 50 seconds each: a self-introduction (including the languages you speak) and a talent video (singing, dancing, etc.). Then take part in an online live audition with the Poppo team. Your agent submits the application through the official agency channel. After approval you join the official Star Host WhatsApp group, where the assistant checks live quality every week.

Rocket Host

Rocket Host is the fixed-salary program for talented male hosts.

Who can apply — Male hosts only. Agents excluded. A Rocket Host cannot be a Star Host.

*SS-Rocket: if your income reached 20,000,000 points last week (platform rewards excluded), your rewards are doubled.

Also included — 70% gift commission, regional daily host ranking with up to 10,000,000 points per day, and the Rocket Host tag on your profile once your weekly income reaches 500,000 points with at least 4 hours of live.

Rules — Solo Live only (Party excluded), maximum 2 hours counted per day. Platform rewards don't count toward the income targets. Salary must be claimed manually every Monday after 00:00 (UTC+8) on the Rocket Host page. Available from wealth level 1. Fill in your broadcast schedule on your profile.

Cancellation — No face on camera, lying down, streaming on another platform at the same time, poor performance or violations, or income below 500,000 points for two consecutive weeks. Three warnings in 30 days lead to cancellation. You can apply again after 30 days.

How to apply — A self-introduction or talent video of at least 45 seconds, plus your Poppo ID. Face authentication must be completed, the video must match your face, no watermark, no noise, clean background. Middle East and Pakistan: submit the video in the “Rocket Host video collection” event in the app. Everywhere: your agent submits the video in the official agency channel. Passing the video review does not mean the application is approved; check the system message the following Monday.

S-Idol

S-Idol is the premium program for female hosts with excellent broadcast performance. It pays a monthly salary based on live time and income.

Who can apply — Female hosts only. Agents excluded.

Extra rewards — 50 hours of live in the month with income of at least 100,000 points: $10. PK task: 5 Random PK wins (effective wins over 3,000 points): $9. Maximum monthly salary: 3,540,000 points.

Global weekly ranking — The top 4 S-Idols of each region enter the global ranking. Rewards: 1st 1,200,000 points, 2nd 600,000, 3rd 400,000, 4th 300,000, 5th 200,000, 6–10 100,000, 11–20 50,000, 21–24 20,000. Total 3,780,000 points per week.

Rules — Solo Live only (Party excluded), maximum 2 hours counted per day. Income comes from gifts only (platform rewards excluded). Fan club of at least 3 members. Live time counted from the 1st of each month at 00:00 (UTC+8); tasks refresh on the 1st. Salary must be claimed manually every month.

Cancellation — No face on camera or face mask, lying down, streaming on another platform at the same time, poor performance or violations. Three warnings in 30 days lead to cancellation. You can apply again after 30 days.

How to apply — Email sidol@v.show with: your Poppo ID, a self-introduction or talent video of at least 45 seconds (as attachment), and proof of your income or number of fans on another platform. All three items are mandatory. Your agent can also submit your application.

Radio Host (audio)

Radio Host is the audio program for Arab hosts. No face and no minimum live time: you only need to reach income targets.

Who can apply — Arab hosts only. Face authentication required. Send your social media links (if any) and contact the official agent group through your agent.

Up to $360 per month in total.

Tags — Radio Host tag from 2,000,000 points of weekly income; premium tag from 10,000,000 points.

Rules — Qualified cover, avatar and nickname (the avatar is used as the live cover). Keep an active party atmosphere. Private chat income doesn't count. Daily tasks are turned off while you are a Radio Host.

Cancellation — Broadcasting with multiple accounts, or missing the weekly targets for two consecutive weeks.

Who can apply — Gaming streamers with a PC or laptop. Experience with Discord and OBS is preferred; previous game-streaming experience is a plus.

Daily bonus — Stream 2 hours a day with at least 80 average viewers (ACU) to earn 30,000 points; some days require 30 ACU for 20,000 points. Check the Esports Host page in the app.

Also included — Esports tag, traffic support from the platform, priority in events, seasonal game campaigns, and possible exclusive contracts for long-term creators.

Streaming requirements — Game screen visible in 720p or better, clear microphone, face camera recommended but not mandatory, overlay with your nickname and avatar, active interaction, stable internet. Pre-recorded gameplay is not allowed. Solo Live only, maximum 2 hours counted per day. Rewards must be claimed manually on the Esports Host page.

How to apply — Join the official Poppo Live Discord server and post in the #apply channel: your Poppo ID, the games you play, your equipment, and a screenshot of your OBS settings.

Host rules that apply to every program

• One person, one verified account. Lending your ID or streaming on someone else's account leads to a permanent ban.
• No underage person on camera. No pornography. No promotion of third-party platforms.
• Keep your face in frame, sit up, tidy and bright background, proper outfit and makeup.
• Cover photo must be authentic: no blurry, spliced, bordered or scenery pictures, no face covering or back view.
• Breaking live rules can cancel the day's task rewards or deduct points.

Leaving or changing agency

• A host can ask to leave an agency from My agent › I want to quit the agency. If the agent doesn't answer within 7 days, the host leaves automatically.
• Hosts without face authentication, or who joined less than 1 day ago, can leave immediately after the first request.
• Only one request every 30 days, whether approved or declined. The agent can still approve within 14 days after a refusal.
