The app has community rules, face authentication for hosts and 24/7 moderation. Never share personal information or payment details in chat.
Hosts and salary
How do hosts earn money?
Hosts keep 70% of gifts, earn an hourly salary from 2,000 to 70,000 points per hour depending on their tier, complete daily tasks, and can apply for fixed-salary programs (Star Host, Rocket Host, S-Idol, Radio Host, Esports Host). 10,000 points = $1.
Do I need to pay to become a host?
No. You need a verified account (face authentication). Salary programs require an application through your agent, never a payment.
What is Star Host?
A weekly salary of up to $40 for hosts who stream 12, 18 or 24 hours a week (solo live). Applications go through your agent with two videos and an audition.
What is Rocket Host?
The weekly salary program for male hosts: up to $40 a week plus a weekly ranking with rewards up to $100.
What is S-Idol?
The monthly salary program for female hosts with strong performance, with tags Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Do I need special equipment?
A smartphone and a stable connection are enough. A phone stand and a fill light are required in the salary programs; a PC is required for Esports Host.
Agencies
What is a Poppo Live agency?
An agency recruits and supports hosts and earns a commission of 4% to 20% on their gift earnings, depending on its level.
Is creating an agency free?
Yes. You need a Poppo Live account with face authentication, and you can't already be a member of another agency.
Can I leave an agency?
A host sends a request from My agent. If the agent doesn't answer within 7 days, the host leaves automatically. One request every 30 days.
How do agencies submit hosts to salary programs?
Through the official Poppo Live channel for agencies, with the host's videos and Poppo ID.
Payments
How do I withdraw?
From the app once you reach 100,000 points ($10). Face authentication and a payment method are required. Payment arrives within 24 hours.
What is the exchange rate?
10,000 points = $1. Coins: about 7,000 per dollar in the stores, up to 9,500 per dollar with offline recharge.
